SpeakEasy is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through a combination of legal guidance, emotional support, and community connection.

Our work focuses on three pillars:

• Listen. We provide a safe, private space for women to share their stories on their terms.

• Support. We connect survivors with legal resources and advocates who understand the complexities of their experiences.

• Empower. Through education and community-building, we help women reclaim their voices and their power.

I co-founded SpeakEasy in 2021, but its roots go deeper: into my own story. When I first heard Noa present her idea for a platform supporting women’s safety, I knew I had to be part of it. I shared my experience, and together, we shaped SpeakEasy into a space where every voice is protected and every story matters.

As someone deeply committed to systemic change and data-driven advocacy, I built SpeakEasy not just as a safe space, but as a tool to uncover the hidden numbers behind sexual violence, because without evidence, change stalls. SpeakEasy gives women the power to share their stories anonymously and helps turn those voices into evidence for reform.

For me, it’s more than a project, it’s part of my purpose.

At SpeakEasy, we create a safe, anonymous space for women to share their experiences of sexual violence, on their terms.

We turn these stories into data-driven advocacy, uncovering the hidden numbers behind sexual violence and using them to push for systemic change. Every voice shared helps drive awareness, reform, and action.

At SpeakEasy, we offer:

• Legal Guidance: We connect women with external lawyers who can help navigate legal processes, ensuring they are informed and supported every step of the way.

• Story Sharing Platform: A secure, private space for women to share their experiences anonymously or openly, depending on their comfort level.

• Educational Resources: Materials on legal rights, healing strategies, and advocacy tools to empower women in reclaiming their narratives.

• Safety Campaigns: We collaborate with bars and public venues on initiatives like the Angel Shot campaign, creating discreet safety networks for women in social spaces.

Since launching SpeakEasy, we have helped dozens of women share their stories and connect with the resources they need.

• Safety initiatives, including campaigns like the Angel Shot, partnering with bars to create safer spaces.

• Vision and growth, steering SpeakEasy toward broader impact while staying true to our mission.
